Gremi, through its international holding structure is planning the development of a phased ecological tourist resort on its fully owned beach front property in Baía Formosa (north-eastern Brazil, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte). The project site covers an area of about 2,347 ha including approximately 6.5 km of coastline. The site benefits from good accessibility by car both from Natal and Joao Pessoa airports.

The project will be implemented using a phased development approach. The project has a masterplan (prepared by EDSA) that allows up to 2,641 units to be built. Most importantly, Gremi Group holds the final Installation License allowing to start construction, issued on December 27, 2018 by Environmental Agency of the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

The project will consist of Vila Aventora (the adventure village for water sports enthusiasts), a Branded Resort and luxury Ocean Condominium.

Conceptual works were supported by EDSA, PKF Hotel Experts, GT Law Firm, Ernst & Young and many other firms and institutions. The project was introduced to the public for the first time at MIPIM 2016 gaining positive feedback from the market.

The project is being developed in phases, starting with Vila Aventora.

Vila Aventora is where sports and wellness are incorporated into the perfect holiday experience. The Adventure Village will host 66 villas and will include an assortment of water-sports activities specializing in kite-surfing and foiling, as well as a health-conscious theme throughout the property. 

Support

Gremi International SARL has presented Ms. Fatima Bezerra, the Governor of the state Rio Grande do Norte, with the Arteco Estrela Project assumptions and the current status of implementation. The project will create thousands of jobs including hundreds of direct jobs intended for the community of the state.
